In the beginning… was innocent blood shed
The Book of Jasher 1:14-35
“And Cain said to his brother Abel, surely if I slay you this day, who will require your blood from me? And Abel answered Cain, saying, surely God who has made us in the earth, He will avenge my cause and He will require my blood from you should you slay me, for the Lord is the judge and arbiter, and it is He who will requite man according to his evil, and the wicked according to his wickedness that he may do on the earth…
And Cain hastened and rose up, and took the iron part of his plowing instrument, with which he suddenly smote his brother and he slew him, and Cain spilt the blood of his brother Abel upon the earth, and the blood of Abel streamed upon the earth before the flock.”
The Waco Tragedy Explained
Two years ago on April 18, 2018 this article by Tara Isabelle Burton, The Waco Tragedy explained, appeared marking the 25th anniversary of what she called: “of one of the strangest and most tragic incidents in American religious history: the bloody ending of the siege between FBI agents and members of the Branch Davidian religious group in Waco, Texas.”
What happened there was unprecedented in American history. …the F.B.I. assembled the largest military force ever to be gathered against a civilian suspect …a total of eight hundred and ninety-nine (899) people against 85 Branch Davidians. Seventy-six people lost their lives in the fiery massacre including 20 children and 2 pregnant women. The adults were there as Bible students seeking to learn the Word of God. David was their shepherd and teacher.
Sunday, April 19, 2020 is the 27th anniversary of burning the ‘heretics’ in Waco, Texas. This all played out in front of God and all the American people.
David Koresh and his group, the Branch Davidians, were demonized and dehumanized by the press, the FBI and the BATF to the extent that a majority of Americans approved of actions taken.
An Exorcism was performed
The FBI had consultants who convinced them the group was ‘demon possessed’ and in need of an exorcism. Two such consultants, hardly ever mentioned, were Mike Evans and Rick Alan Ross.
Criticism of government agencies’ involvement with Ross has come from Nancy Ammerman, a professor of sociology of religion, who cited FBI interview notes which stated Ross “has a personal hatred for all religious cults“. She testified that the ATF and the FBI did rely on Ross when he recommended that agents “attempt to publicly humiliate Koresh, hoping to drive a wedge between him and his followers”. Other scholars of religion also criticized Ross’ involvement.
These men wanted tactics to be more aggressive against Koresh and did things that undermined Branch Davidian leaders’ trust in the negotiating team, such as using bright lights and the playing of “agonizingly loud music on speakers 24/7”.
A member of the FBI negotiating team said “We found ourselves digging ourselves out of a hole that others dug for us, What you’re doing is training a dog to bring you the newspaper and then kicking him in the teeth.”
Music Torture – Psychological warfare
History’s most infamous musical assault was the massively distorted music blasted at the Branch Davidians in Waco in 1993. The tactic by the FBI was meant to wear down the compound dwellers over the seven-week siege “like a battleship pounding shoreline battlements.” The final firestorm was prepared by sleep-depriving decibel levels. Their playlist included Nancy Sinatra’s ‘These Boots Are Made for Walkin’, sing-along Christmas carols, Tibetan chants, cavalry bugle blasts, jet planes and the screams of animals being slaughtered.
This torture was initiated by Mike Evans, a “Christian Zionist” who is today a consultant of President Trump, along with his side-kick Rick Alan Ross, founder and executive director of the nonprofit Cult Education Institute in affiliation with the Cult Awareness Network. It was carried out by the American government in a military assault on the Branch Davidians home.
“Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, haven’t we prophesied in your name? and in your name cast out demons? and in your name done many wonderful works?
And then it will be professed to them, ‘I never knew you: depart from me. you that work iniquity.'”
Jesus, Matthew 7:22-23
The Davidians called for ‘HELP’, but no one would help them. When their phone line was cut, they made signs on sheets and put them out the windows calling for HELP and saying “God sees your lies”. Still no one would help them. Their voices cry out still! No one has ever been held accountable for the innocent blood shed that day. True to form, the blame for the whole incident has been put on the victims.
Showtime!
Finally, on April 19, the FBI raided the compound, using military-grade weaponry, armored tanks, and tear gas. They punched holes in the building, making it like a “pot-bellied stove”, after which a fire broke out. No Fire trucks were called. No attempt was made to put it out or get the people out of there. They called it “Operation Showtime!” It was a Really Big Show!
By and large, the public treated the ending of the siege of Waco as the story of a crazy cult that had gotten the end it deserved, similar to the mass suicide at Jonestown. Just a day after the raid, then-President Bill Clinton argued that the FBI bore no responsibility for the deaths at Waco, saying: “I do not think the United States government is responsible for the fact that a bunch of religious fanatics decided to kill themselves.”
A Cult worthy of Death
The media tended to legitimize the FBI’s raid on Mount Carmel — despite its disastrous outcome for many innocent members of the Branch Davidians, including 20 children — because the group at Waco was labeled a “cult.”
“David Koresh was demonized in the press, but Branch Davidians were dehumanized, both in the press and by the FBI in press briefings,” said Catherine Wessinger, a Loyola (Jesuit) University religion scholar and symposium speaker who helped several surviving Branch Davidians write their memoirs…
“This is going to continue to be an issue we as a nation are going to have to deal with, and we need to get our story straight,” said an associate, Melton.
Melton and Wessinger argue that the view of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms was distorted early on by the “cult” narrative, justifying an aggressive response.
“Since the 1970s, the word ‘cult’ has been used to refer to a particular type of group seen as dangerous, isolated and brainwashed and crazy,” Wessinger said. “I would say this is a stereotype that once imposed on a group inhibits the impartial investigation of what a group is really like. That’s what happened in 1993.”
ATF agents also consulted Rick Ross, a controversial anti-cult “deprogrammer” who had no professional credentials.
Who bears Responsibility?
“You witness against yourselves that you are the children of them which killed the prophets. You take up where your fathers left off…
That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias (“remembered of God”)… Truly I say to you, All these things shall come upon this generation.”
-Jesus, Matthew 23:35
“And God said to Cain, ‘What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries unto Me from the ground. And now you are cursed from the earth which has opened up her mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.”
Genesis 4:10-11
The Workers of Iniquity
“Not every one that says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, haven’t we prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out demons? and in your name done many wonderful works?’ And then it will be professed to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.”
Jesus, Matthew 7:22-23
“For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one , and slew his brother. And why did he kill him? Because his own works were evil and his brother’s righteous.”
1 John 3:10-11
“Then I inquired of Raphael, an angel who was with me, and said, Whose spirit is that, the voice of which reaches to heaven, and accuses? He answered, saying, This is the spirit of Abel, who was slain by Cain his brother; and who will accuse that brother, until his seed is destroyed from the face of the earth; Until his seed perish from the seed of the human race.”
Enoch 22:6-8
The Blood of all the Slain
“And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the Word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”
Revelation 6:9-11
“And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints and of all that were slain upon the earth.”
Revelation 18:24
“And if your wicked heart will not hearken to my words to cause you to forsake your evil ways and to serve the eternal God, then will you die in shame in the latter days, you, your people and all who are connected with you, hearing your words or walking in your evil ways.”
Abraham to Nimrod – Image of the Beast – Nimrod
“If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto you, O king, that we will not serve your gods, nor worship your golden image which you have set up”
