The Book of Enoch 2:1
Here is the ancient Book of Enoch being quoted by a New Testament Apostle, the brother of Jesus, telling us what to expect in that day! What more could that book tell us? Who was Enoch? Where did he get his knowledge?
“And what is it that he said, ‘And he rested the seventh day’: He means this; that when His Son shall come, and abolish/destroy the season/age of the Wicked One and judge the ungodly; and shall change the Sun and the Moon, and the Stars; then he shall gloriously rest in that seventh day.”

The Time of Healing

And the man said to me, ‘Son of man, behold with your eyes and hear with your ears and set your heart upon all that I shall show you; for to the intent that I might show them to you are you brought here: declare all that you see to the House of Israel…’ And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth…”

Jesus said, “Truly, truly I say to you, He that hears my word and believes/trusts in Him that sent me, has everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation but is passed from death unto life.” John 5:24
Jesus said he had not come to destroy the Law and the prophets but to fulfill. At his last breath he said, “it is accomplished.” Meaning he had fulfilled his part spoken of in prophecy and then he died.
He sent his apostles to the House of Israel as witnesses of him and to convey his message and his teaching in the Spirit of God’s Word. They were all murdered but one who was exiled. From that one we have the Book of Revelation.
In his time, Moses was the only one God allowed to come up to His Mountain. He spoke to him there as a friend. Moses was then sent to the people to convey God’s Word to them. Before he died, he assigned to Joshua to bring the people into the “Promised Land” and to carry with them the Ark of the Covenant.
All the prophets spoke the Word of God to the children of Israel as they were instructed. He spoke to them and told them what to say and to whom to say it. And then they died. They were all murdered as Christ was. Are there any of the prophets they have not slain?
And yet we have account of everything God sent them to say! As a witness carved in stone, God’s Word will never perish. It is written, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away but the Word of God stands forever!’
God said to King David, “…I will set up your seed after you, which shall proceed from your loins and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for My Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his Father and he shall be My Son.” 2Sam 7
“It is the Spirit that makes alive, the flesh profits nothing! The words that I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life.” John 6:63
It was the serpent’s curse in the beginning to “eat dust” which is to say, to apply God’s Word to the flesh. “But we know that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, neither does corruption inherit incorruption.” 1 Cor 15:41-58
“For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Gala 6:8
Turn to God’s Word with all your heart and seek Him that lives forever with a humble and contrite spirit and He will answer you Himself! He is not a God afar off but very near.
