The word jubile can mean, ‘the sound of a trumpet,’ ‘a trumpet-blast of liberty’ and/or ‘a shout of joy’. A Trumpet is commanded to sound in the Jubilee Year as signal of the year of release for all the people who will hear the sound and come to the ingathering of the congregation. It is a day of great rejoicing for the House of Israel, a Day of Atonement, salvation, liberty, restoration and comfort. In days of ole, the Jubilee year was announced by a blast on a shofar, an instrument made from a ram’s horn, during that year’s Yom Kippur or Day of Atonement.
The Trumpet of Jubilee
“And you shall number seven sabbaths of years unto you, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto you forty and nine years. Then you shall cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And you shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and you shall return every man unto his possession and you shall return every man unto his family.”
Moses, Leviticus 25:8-10
Blow the Trumpet in Zion
“Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My Holy Mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the Day of the LORD comes, for it is near at hand…
Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation…”
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit upon all people; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy… And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call upon the Name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in Mount Zion and in [New] Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the Remnant whom the LORD shall call.”
Joel 2
‘The Anointed One’ of God
The word Messiah is a Hebrew word meaning ‘Anointed One’. The word Christ is the Greek word that means the same. From days of old, priests and kings have been anointed with oil or chrism symbolizing the Holy Spirit of God being placed upon them.
In the Gospel of Luke we find there was delivered to Jesus the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
‘The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel/good tidings to the poor/meek; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised/oppressed. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord…’
He closed the book, gave it again to the minister and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the congregation were fastened on him. He began to say to them, ‘This day this scripture is fulfilled in your ears.’
Jesus, Luke 4:17-21
This Scripture fulfilled? What Scripture? How? Why did he stop in the middle of the sentence while two more components remained? Here is what he was reading from in chapter 61 of the book of Isaiah:
“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison (“salvation from sin”) to them that are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD…
Jesus stopped there, but Isaiah’s prophecy goes on to say:
the Day of vengeance of our God; to Comfort all that mourn.
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called Trees of Righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified…
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.”
Isaiah 61
This Day this Scripture is fulfilled in your eyes and ears. Who has ears to hear let him hear.
Concerning the Trumpet
“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”
Paul, 1 Corinthians 15:50-53
The Voice of the Archangel as the Trumpet
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel (“Chief Messenger”), and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet (as with the ‘called out ones’) the Lord in the air/breath/spirit: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
Paul, 1 Thessalonians 4:16
Some purport this is the doctrine of Rapture. But this idea is nothing more than the vain imagination of man.
“Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD returns the captives of His people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.”
Psalms 14:7
“And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of My Mountain: and My Elect shall inherit it and My servants shall dwell there. And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for My people that have sought Me.”
But you are they that forsake the LORD, that forget My Holy Mountain… Therefore I will number you to the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear; but did evil before My eyes, and did not choose that wherein I delight. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, ‘Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry. My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty. My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be ashamed.
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.”
Isaiah 65:9-17
A New Heaven and Earth
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away… And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the Tabernacle of God is made up of people and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people; God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. He said to me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
John, Revelation 21:1-5
The Law is a Shadow
“For the law having a shadow of good things to come and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered?
…For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins… For every priest stands daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God. From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.”
Barnabas, Hebrews 10:1, 4, 12-13
The Promise of God
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before that great and dreadful/terrible Day of the LORD…”
Malachi 4
“For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me: him shall you hear in all things whatsoever he shall say to you…”
Acts of the Apostles 3:22; Deuteronomy 18:15-19
“But the Comforter, which is of the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said to you.”
Jesus, Gospel of John 14:26
“His disciples asked him saying, ‘Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must first come? And Jesus answered and said to them, Elijah truly first shall come and restore all things. But I say unto you, he has come already…”
Jesus, Gospel of Matthew 17:10-12
The Great Sound of a Trumpet
“And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his Elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
Jesus, Matthew 24:31
“Then shall the Righteous shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Who has ears to hear let him hear.’
Jesus, Matthew 13:43
“Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, from the day that the foundation of the LORD’S temple was laid, consider it. Is the seed yet in the barn? Yes, as yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree, has not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.”
Haggai 2:18-19
The Truth shall set you Free
Jesus is the High Priest who made the Atonement offering, the acceptable offering to God for the forgiveness of sin for the children of Israel. With his dying breath he said, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” He said to his disciples, “If you continue in my word, you will be my disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” Moses told Israel that in the end times their enemies would be found to be liars unto them. So again, we must have discernment to know the truth from the lies. Those who lead you cause you to go astray with their lies and their love of money. God says, “Return unto Me, and I will return unto you.” The time is now to come out from among the liars and return to the truth of God’s Word.
Why is there such tribulation upon the earth? Because this is a nation that does not obey the voice of the LORD their God, nor receives correction: truth is perished and is cut off from their mouth. There is no truth in them. Therefore, they suffer Great Tribulation at the hand of their enemies. The year of Jubilee is the time of release and return. Let him who has ears to hear, hear.

Greetings Carol!
Thank you for your comment! It’s wonderful to hear.
I would like to offer you another string of pearls from Isaiah 28. It is AWESOME as it leads right through to the end.
From Isaiah:
“Thus saith the LORD God, ‘Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure Foundation: he that believes shall not be confused.” Isaiah 28:16-17
“Sanctify the LORD of hosts Himself; and let Him be your fear and let Him be your dread. And He shall be for a Sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.” Isaiah 8:10-20
From David
“The stone which the builders refused/rejected is become the head cornerstone. This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the Day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalms 118:19-24
Jesus identified himself:
Hear another parable: “There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about and dug a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. Eventually, he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will reverence my son’. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance’ And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.”
‘When the lord therefore of the vineyard comes, what will he do unto those husbandmen?’ They said to him, ‘He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen which shall render him the fruits in their seasons/set time’.
Jesus said to them, ‘Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the LORD’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? Therefore, I say unto you, The Kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken, but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke of them. But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.” Matthew 21:33-46
From Paul:
“And as Isaiah said before, ‘Except the LORD of hosts had left us a seed/Remnant, we would have been as Sodom, and been made like unto Gomorrah’ (1:8).
But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness. Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone; As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion/Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offence: and whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed/confused.” Romans 9:27-33
From Peter
“…Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, ‘You rulers of the people, and elders of Israel … Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here before you whole.
This is the stone which was set at nought/rejected of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is no other Name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:8-12
“Laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking; As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby: If so be you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a Living Stone, rejected indeed of men, but chosen of God and precious,
You also, as Living Stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by way of Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the Scripture, ‘Behold, I lay in Sion/Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be confounded/confused’. Unto you therefore which believe, he is precious, but unto them which are disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed/rejected, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the Word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.” 1 Peter 2:1-10
From Paul:
“…For we are laborers together with God: you are God’s husbandry, you are God’s building.
According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise Master Builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds thereon. But let every man take heed how he builds thereupon. For another foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 3:8-16
“For through/by way of Jesus, we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the Holy Ones and of the household of God; And are built upon the Foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an Holy Temple in the Lord: In whom you also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Ephesians 2:18-3:1
From The Book of Revelations:
“…And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high Mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of Heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel… And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
He that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lies foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the Angel…” Revelations 21:10-19
“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the Mount Sion/Zion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Name and his Father’s Name written in their foreheads…” Revelations 14:1
Amen and Amen!
To sum it up, from our dear brother Paul:
25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Colossians 1:25-27
May our great God and Father keep you.
Thank you, Carol!
And may our great God and Father make His face shine upon you!
