There is a lot of talk about fake News and misinformation in the News lately by the talking heads. But what about those who give misinformation and falsehood regarding God’s Word? Jesus and his Apostles warned of these continuously. The Bible calls falsehood ‘the chaff’ while those who profess the truth of God’s Word are compared to ‘the wheat’. So what is the chaff to the wheat? As darkness to Light, error to truth, wickedness to righteousness, death to life.
Take heed that no man deceive you
When Jesus’ disciples asked him about signs of the end times he said:
“Take heed that no man deceives you. For many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ; and shall deceive many/most… And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many/most.”
Jesus – Matthew 24:4-5, 10-13
“Call no man your ‘Father’ upon earth, for one is your Father which is in heaven.”
Jesus – Matthew 23:9
John the Baptist was sent before him.
“You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him… For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God… He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that does not believe the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.”

Paul spoke of the beginning when Eve was deceived by the Serpent, the most subtle “beast” of the field Gen 3:1.
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”
Apostle Paul – 2 Corinthians 11:3-4
Apostolic Succession – chaff to the wheat
There are those who claim Apostolic Succession falsely. When their words are tried, they are found to be liars.
“I know your works, and your labor, and your patience, and how you cannot bear them which are evil: and you have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars.”

What is the Chaff to the Wheat?
Thus saith the LORD, “I have heard what the prophets have said, that prophesy lies in My Name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed’. How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yes, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; which think to cause My people to forget My Name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten My Name for Baal.
The prophet that has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that has My Word, let him speak My Word faithfully/truthfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD… Behold, I am against the prophets that use their tongues, and say, ‘He saith’. Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I have not sent them, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.”
Jeremiah 23:25-32
John also spoke of the Wheat and the Chaff
“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that comes after me is mightier than I… he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire; Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Peter quoted Moses
“For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say to you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.’”

Moses also Prophesied – chaff to the wheat
“The LORD your God will raise up unto you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brethren, like unto me; unto him you shall hearken…
And the LORD said to me… I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto you and will put My Words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto My Words which he shall speak in My Name, I will require it of him.
But the prophet which shall presume to speak a word in My Name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’ When a prophet speaks in the Name of the LORD, if the thing does not exist [in His Word], nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not reverence him.”

Text without Context is Pretext
Text without context is pretext. When God’s Word is ‘dashed to pieces’ it is taken out of context and can be made to say anything.
Pretext is: 1) something that is put forward to conceal a true purpose or object 2) the misleading appearance or behavior assumed with this intention.
“Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in my integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide… For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes: and I have walked in Your truth. I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers… and will not sit with the wicked.”
King David – Psalms 26:1-5
“You hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, ‘This people draw near unto Me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”
Jesus – Matthew 15:7-9
A dissembler is one who feigns himself to be something he is not.
To give a false appearance to; conceal the real nature of to conceal one’s true motives, thoughts etc. by some pretense; speak or act hypocritically
A hypocrite is one who pretends to have desirable or publicly approved attitudes, beliefs, or principles, etc. he does not actually possess. As an actor.
Priests and religious leaders do this on a regular basis in order to persuade people to behave in a way they want them to. These are they who come ‘in His Name’ and deceive the majority with false and misleading words and information. These are ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing’, who feed themselves of the flock and use them for their own purposes.
The Deceivers are Here – chaff to the wheat
Jesus spoke of these deceivers who would come at the end time and cause the majority to worship the ‘image of the beast‘. He would:
“Deceive them that dwell on the earth… And cause that as many as would not worship the ‘image of the beast’ should be put to death.
And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count/compute the number of the beast: for it is the number of man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six (666).”
Jesus – The Book of Revelation 13:14-18
The Greek word for ‘mark’ is charagma. The root of this word is ‘character’, an embossed character or code. A code being a word, letter, number or other symbol used in a code system to represent or identify something: The code on the label shows the date of manufacture. Such is a ‘bar-code’ or QR code. These codes contain the numbers 666.

Is the vaccine the ‘Mark of the Beast’?
Vatican seeks all-out effort to combat vaccine hesitancy

Rome, The Vatican’s bioethics academy and the World Medical Association on Friday called for an all-out effort to combat vaccine hesitancy and correct the “myths and disinformation” that are slowing the fight against the corona virus… …they said “a more pernicious form” of hesitancy is being driven by fake news, myths and disinformation about vaccine safety, including among religious groups and some in the medical community.
They demanded that “all relevant stakeholders/stockholders exhaust all efforts to …confront vaccine hesitancy by sending a clear message about the safety and necessity of vaccines and counteracting vaccine myths and disinformation…
The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (former Office of the Inquisition) said in December that it was “morally acceptable” to take vaccines using cell lines from aborted fetuses… Pope Francis has decried the “suicidal negationism” of those who refuse to take COVID-19 shots.”
…Digital health certificates, or vaccine passports, are part of these efforts as more and more organizations are requiring proof of vaccination to function, including commercial airlines, employers, the VA, healthcare facilities, colleges and universities, pubs and bars, and retail establishments… the vaccine passports could exclude economic and social opportunities for those without immunization proof…
They have offered everything from lottery tickets, concert tickets, child care, a beer and anything else they can think of as incentives for the jab. But those who don’t want it cannot be enticed. They are being called the “pandemic of the unvaccinated”. They are and will be vilified and demonized for their stance.

Punishment for the Deceivers – Beware! Chaff is burned up!
“The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone… And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
