In ancient Egypt the obelisk symbolized the sun god, Ra. It was said to have been a petrified ray of the Aten, the sundisk. But why is this symbol seen in so many places including London, Washington DC and the Vatican?
Around 30 BCE, Rome seized control of Egypt. The Ancient Romans were awestruck by the obelisks they saw and looted the various temple complexes.
Obelisk Monuments
The largest standing and tallest Egyptian obelisk is the Lateran Obelisk in the square at the west side of the Lateran Basilica in Rome at 105.6 feet tall.
More well known is the iconic obelisk at Saint Peter’s Square at the Vatican. Brought to Rome by the Emperor Caligula in 37 CE, it has stood at its current site and on the wall of the Circus of Nero, flanking St Peter’s Basilica. This one was taken from the Temple of Isis in Egypt.
Not all the Egyptian obelisks in the Roman Empire were set up at Rome: the Idumean (of Esau), Herod the Great, imitated his Roman patrons and set up a red granite Egyptian obelisk in the hippodrome of his new city Caesarea in northern Judea.
Obelisk monuments are also known from the Assyrian civilization, where they were erected as public monuments that commemorated the achievements of the Assyrian king, i.e. the Black obelisk of Shalmaneser, the king who took Israel captive (2 Kings 17).
Obelisk Symbolism
Phallic symbolism was prevalent in the architectural tradition of ancient Babylon. The Romans, who were deeply superstitious, also often used phallic imagery in their architecture and domestic items.

The Washington Monument is an obelisk within the National Mall in Washington, D.C., built to commemorate George Washington, once commander-in-chief of the Continental Army (1775–1784) in the American Revolutionary War and the first President of the United States (1789–1797).
Located almost due east of the Reflecting Pool and the Lincoln Memorial, the monument, made of marble, granite, and bluestone gneiss, is both the world’s tallest predominantly stone structure and the world’s tallest obelisk.
The Washington Monument is a hollow Egyptian style stone obelisk with a 500-foot tall column and a 55-foot tall pyramidion. Total Height of 555’ x 12” = 6660”
It is the tallest monumental column in the world if all are measured above their pedestrian entrances. Overtaking the Cologne Cathedral, it was the tallest structure in the world between 1884 and 1889, after which it was overtaken by the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The Heavens declare the Righteousness of the LORD

Baal Hammon
Baal Hammon was the chief god of Carthage. He was the weather god considered responsible for the fertility of vegetation and esteemed as King of the Gods. He was depicted as a bearded older man with curling ram’s horns. …Modern scholars identify him with Dagon the Fish-god.
Tanit
Tanit was a Phoenician goddess, the chief deity of Carthage alongside of her consort Baal-hamon. …She is the equivalent to the moon-goddess Astarte/Ashtoreth …a consort of Baal Hamon, a heavenly goddess of war, a virginal mother goddess…
Her shrine excavated at Sarepta in southern Phoenicia (modern-day Lebanon) revealed an inscription that identified her … securely to the Phoenician/Venetian goddess Astarte (Ishtar). The same images can be traced to the Black Madonna.
Amun Ra was the ultimate god of the entire ancient Egypt; many of the Egyptians considered him as the God of Kings and the King of Gods! He is the oldest and most worshiped ruler of ancient Egypt. Ra was the god of the sun and light, who traveled across the sky every day in a burning boat.
As the chief deity of the Egyptian Empire, Amun-Ra also came to be worshiped outside Egypt, according to the testimony of ancient Greek historiographers in Libya and Nubia. As Zeus Ammon, he came to be identified with Zeus in Greece and Jupiter in Rome.

Baal and Ashtaroth
“But they left all the Commandments of the Lord their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove (image of Asherah/Ashtaroth), and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served Baal. A Startling Statement
The ex-Jesuit, Alberto Rivera made a startling statement. He is most notable for his statements about his time as a Catholic priest and the inner workings of the Catholic Church. Year of the Bible
Reagan declared 1983 the “Year of the Bible” …The late Evangelist Jerry Falwell stated that Reagan was “the greatest thing that has happened to our country in my lifetime.” …At the annual meeting of the National Association of Evangelicals in 1983, Reagan delivered his famous address branding the Soviet Union as the “evil empire”. He did so in no small part because the organization affirmed his resistance to the burgeoning nuclear-freeze movement. This movement had garnered support from many other religious leaders, including Catholic bishops. The evangelical right was not only part of Reagan’s coalition; it was also one of its pillars.
In 1984, Falwell and other Christian Right leaders offered an unrestrained endorsement… calling Reagan and Bush “God’s instruments in rebuilding America.” Reagan published an election-year book titled ‘In God I Trust’ …Pat Robertson called Reagan “probably the most evangelical president we have had since the founding fathers.” …Especially apropos in 1984 was his long-standing interest in scriptural prophecy. According to an election-year poll, nearly 40 percent of Americans linked the biblical end-times with a nuclear apocalypse. Where did they get that idea?
City-States that Rule the World

City of London – FINANCE: They design and control all financial and banking systems including the Federal Reserve.
Vatican City – RELIGION: The Roman Pontiff is seeking to merge all religions into one.
Washington DC – MILITARY: The most powerful weaponry ever to exist.
Vatican City is not part of Italy or Rome. The Vatican is the last true remnant of the Roman Empire. The State of Israel is also said to be a Roman outpost. Their want is to seat the pope in Jerusalem. Israeli authorities have granted the Pope an official seat in the room where the Last Supper supposedly took place on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. The Vatican’s wealth includes investments with the Rothschilds in Britain, France and US and with oil and weapons corporations as well. The Vatican’s billions are said to be in Rothschild controlled ‘Bank of England’ and US Federal Reserve Bank. The money possessed by the Vatican is more than banks, corporations or even some Governments.
The Vatican has long wanted control over part of the area on Mt. Zion so as to turn it into an international religious center for Roman Catholics.
Vatican wealth has been accumulated over the centuries by taxing indulgences, some popes have even sold tickets to heaven. Today, they are harvesting souls in Asia as a 3rd millennium goal.
The influence of the Vatican and the Catholic church is immense — greater than any army, tyrant, or government. They are also the greatest financial power on Earth.
Recently the Roman Catholic bishops dedicated the Americas to ‘Our Lady of Guadalupe‘ who is none other than Ashoreth/Ishtar.
