This year marks the 242nd anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The founding fathers were fed up with King George of England and his tyrannical way of governing the English colonies from “across the pond.” To declare independence was a treasonous act against George but it proved to be a courageous act for the benefit of America and Liberty and Justice was proclaimed to the captives!
High Cost of Celebration
Since then, the country goes into overdrive to celebrate this day in history with parades, band concerts, bar-b-ques and fireworks. According to the National Retail Federation, Americans will spend more than $7 billion on cookouts and other celebrations. All done without a thought to those who risked their lives for the freedom to do so.
Flags are a top seller, mostly imported from China. More than $5 million worth. Around $1 billion on food to grill including $37 million on ketchup alone. Booze and beef are big on this day.
In fact, the Fourth of July is the country’s top beer-drinking holiday with citizens spending more than $1 billion on brew and another $568 million on wine. Retailers will be well stocked as every holiday seems to have lots of alcohol promoted and available.
Travel is another big expense. An estimated 44 million Americans are expected to travel more than 50 miles from home. When you consider how much booze is consumed it might not be such a good day to be on the road. There are typically 37% more highway fatalities on the 4th than any other day in July.
In 2016 Americans spent more than $800 million on fireworks. They don’t even care if it’s fire season! Many municipalities pay out anywhere from $5,000 to $30,000 to host their own displays. That’s about $2,000 per minute give or take. There are an estimated 14,000 shows across the country.
The Fourth of July is said to be the deadliest holiday weekend. ER visits and fatalities include car crashes, swimming incidents and fireworks accidents.
This is all what some people think of as celebrating the “American Dream.”
A Day of Mourning
But in all this mindless revelry by which the merchants become enriched, there is something that is never considered. Three of the first five American Presidents died on the Fourth of July, two of which were on the same day. Both signers and founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on July 4th, 1826, the 50th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. What an amazing coincidence! James Monroe, the author of the Monroe Doctrine, died on the same day five years later in 1831. And no one gives them a thought!
Another American president, Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “Nothing in politics happens by chance, if it happens, it happens for a reason.” Other’s have said, “There’s no such thing as a coincidence!”
These founding fathers of America were all what are considered to be White Anglo-Saxon Protestants or WASPs. These are targeted enemies of the Roman Catholic Church whose military branch, the Jesuit Order, is sworn by an oath to eradicate them from the face of the earth.
“I do further declare that the doctrine of the Churches of England and Scotland, of the Calvinists, Huguenots and others of the name Protestants or Liberals to be damnable and they themselves damned who will not forsake the same.”
“I do further declare, that I will help, assist, and advise all or any of his Holiness’ agents in any place wherever I shall be, in Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, England, Ireland or America … and do my utmost to extirpate the heretical Protestants or Liberal’s doctrines and to destroy all their pretended powers, regal or otherwise.”
“I further promise and declare that I will… make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Liberals, as I am directed to do, to extirpate them from the face of the whole earth. …I will secretly use the poisoned cup…”
Excerpts from the Jesuit Extreme Oath
This is precisely why the Pilgrims fled to the New World. They were being killed by the thousands by the Catholics for their Protestantism.
Protestants vs. Catholics
A Protestant is defined as a member or follower of any of the Western Christian churches that are separate from the Roman Catholic Church and follow the principles of the Reformation, including the Baptist, Presbyterian, and Lutheran churches.
In a letter written to Thomas Jefferson by John Adams in 1816, he wrote:
“I do not like the resurrection of the Jesuits. They have a General now in Russia, in correspondence with the Jesuits in the United States, who are more numerous than anybody knows. Shall we not have swarms of them here, in as many disguises as only a king of the gypsies can assume, dressed as painters, publishers, writers and schoolmasters… I have lately read Pascal’s letters over again, and four volumes of the History of the Jesuits. If ever any congregation of men could merit eternal perdition on earth and in hell it is this company of Loyola.”
In reply Jefferson wrote back:
“Like you, I disapprove of the restoration of the Jesuits, for it means a step backward from light into darkness.”
These men were clearly aware of the threat to American liberty by these Jesuits and their infiltration into American life. They have accomplished that infiltration over the years into all walks of life including the Federal Reserve banking system and the U.S. Senate and caused a turning away from Almighty God to idols, the god of forces and the god of mammon. They are even calling for the Bible to be banned! And the Protestants are reuniting with the pope to form a “One World Religion” with the papacy at its head. Woe!
The present president made the statement: “In America, we don’t worship government, we worship God.” He does nothing but give lip-service and speaks great swelling words about God.
“And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; …and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day. Behold, the days come, says the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:” Amos 8:10-11
When people are drunken and partying, they are easily taken captive. The American people have left themselves vulnerable by not paying attention and not heeding the many warnings to “beware of false prophets.”
Because they have forsaken the God of their fore-fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, He has forsaken them and allowed them to be overtaken. He Himself said, “If I turn away My face, then all things will be destroyed.” The time has come to turn toward the LORD God Almighty with all your heart, and pray that He will turn toward you, otherwise, all is lost.
“Turn us unto You, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old. But You have utterly rejected us; You are very wroth against us.” Lamentations 5:21-22
