Worship of the Queen of Heaven
The pagan celebration of the worship of Ishtar, the Queen of Heaven, has morphed into what is now called “Easter.” By changing the name they hoped to bury the origin of the worship of the Queen of Heaven, but we will expose the roots of this deception. Today she is worshiped under the name, “Virgin Mary.” They change the names but the characters are the same.
In 2016 The National Retail Federation expected consumers to spend $17.3 billion, up considerably from what they spent in 2008 – that number was $14.4 billion! This day definitely makes the merchants of the earth become very rich.
Some say this “holy-day” is the most important in the “Christian” calendar, but is this celebration in line with God’s Commands? What does a bunny have to do with the death of a man they call “Jesus”? What do eggs have to do with God? Nothing, but they have everything to do with procreation, rebirth and new life. Ishtar is the ancient Babylonian goddess of spring and fertility. God is very clear as to what we are to do with the pagan worship practices we encounter.
In Jeremiah 7:17-18 it says: “…The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the Queen of Heaven, and to pour drink offerings to their gods, that they may provoke Me to anger.”
In Isaiah 1, God says that His people have forsaken Him and gone away backward and become like Sodom and Gomorrah to Him. He says your feast days are something He hates! He says He will hide His face from you and He will not hear your prayers when you pray to Him. Unless you put away all these pagan holy days and cease from following the heathen, you are just like them as far as He’s concerned and you can expect nothing from Him. He’s fed up with all of it! Choose this day whom you will serve: pagan gods of the heathen or the LORD God Almighty and keep His Commandments. The decision is yours.
It makes me so sad to see how pagan we have become. I celebrate Passover not Istar. Keep up the GOOD work!
Hi Janie,
Please see the post below: “What does Passover have to do with Easter? If you read the account from Scripture in Exodus you’ll see that the Rabbis have defiled and completely missed the point of what Passover was and is. It’s not food for the belly! It goes much deeper than what’s for dinner. It’s a shadow of what the end times are and instruction on how to escape the wrath of God, which is coming upon the whole earth just as it did upon Pharaoh, so to “Passover” you. That while Egypt was in darkness, Israel had Light in their houses. The Light of God’s Word by the hand of Moses.
