“You shall not be afraid of them, but shall well remember the Passover and what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt… whereby the LORD your God brought you out: so shall the LORD your God do to all the people of whom you are afraid… You shall not be frightened at them, for the LORD your God is among you. A mighty God and awesome!”
Deuteronomy 7
What a striking coincidence that the world is experiencing the same tribulation and darkness the Egyptians did in the time of Moses and at the Passover! And it IS the time of Passover! Which comes as an end to what has been but also as the time of a new and better beginning of what will be.
A Time to Rejoice!
It may seem to be frightening having to be isolated from the world, but it presents itself as a time to get wise! A time of Deliverance! The time of Salvation to those of Israel! A time to call upon the Name of the Father.
Just remember the Passover and what God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt, which serve us as a shadow and example of these times that have come now and why. Come out! And don’t be partakers with them so that you don’t receive of her plagues!
While the Egyptians were in darkness, Israel had light in their houses. While the Egyptians were in great tribulation, “not even a dog barked at Israel”. God gave instructions to the children of Israel by way of Moses. (Deu 30:19) And by His mighty hand He brought the whole House of Israel out of the bondage and oppression of Egypt. Another coincidence! Ephraim was born in Egypt.

To the people of God: Don’t be afraid and always remember, Your God reigns! He has told the end from the beginning and promised: “Whomsoever will call on the Name of the LORD will be saved.” Acts 2:21
Israel had Light in their Houses
The feast of Passover is so named because the wrath of God ‘passed over’ the children of Israel while being directed at Egypt and Pharaoh, the commander-in-chief. But why was God so angry with Egypt? Because of the oppression and mistreatment of His people who cried out to Him for help. By the hand of Moses, He brought them out of the land and life style to which they were accustomed. Some wanted to go back. But they were warned not to return to the ways of Egypt. The Egyptians were in darkness; Israel had Light in their houses. What did the one have that the other didn’t? Exo 10:23
Jesus said, “I am the Light of the World, he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life… As long as I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.” John 8:12; 9:5
Prophecies of Doom
Ezra has one book in the Bible and others in what we know as The Apocrypha. Ezra or Esdras was a Levitical priest when the House of Judah came out of the Babylonian captivity. He restored the Law to the people.
The Apocrypha was at one time included in between the Old and New Testaments in the King James Bible.
Many things were revealed to the prophet Esdras (Ezra) concerning the end times. He described what the end times would be like. Jesus quoted from his books in Matthew 24 and Luke 21. Here is an excerpt from a portion of 2Esdras:
“Beware, says the LORD, I am letting loose terrible evils on the world, sword, famine, death and destruction, because wickedness has spread over the whole earth and there is no more room for further deeds of violence.
Therefore the LORD says, I will not keep silent about your godless sins; I will not tolerate their wicked deeds. See how the blood of innocent victims cries to Me for vengeance and the souls of the Righteous never cease to plead with Me! I will most surely avenge them, says the LORD, and will hear the plea of all the innocent blood that has been shed. My people are being led to the slaughter like sheep. I will no longer allow them to remain in Egypt but will use all My power to rescue them; I will strike the Egyptians with plagues, as I did before, and destroy their whole land. How Egypt will mourn, shaken to its very foundations, when it is scourged and chastised by the LORD.”
2 Esdras
When Israel ‘passed through’ the Red Sea out of Egypt, they walked on dry ground. But Pharaoh and his men in pursuit of them were drowned in the sea.
The Passover Meal – The Meat of the Lamb
The feast of Passover, like all the feast days of the earth has become nothing more than “What’s for dinner?” The merchants of the Passover supplies are worried because of the lockdown of their customers. This is the busiest time of the year for them. The same is true of the “Christian” merchants looking to sell their goods to those who celebrate Easter (about 83% of Americans). Is it Easter or Ishtar? Not to mention the worry of all the pastors with the cessation of tithes due to empty pews. They’re all out of business! The focus remains on financial profit without a thought of why they do the things they do. It’s total hypocrisy!
Easter spending expected to be second highest in NRF survey history
(2018) “Consumer spending remains healthy both for this holiday and this spring, and that paints an optimistic picture for the U.S. economy in the year ahead.” NRF President and CEO
Easter spending. So, we expect 2020 to be around $19.5 billion, and an average spend of around $156 per person.
Jesus Stood up against the Merchants
Jesus faced the same situation in his time when he went into the Temple of God and found the merchants and moneychangers buying and selling for the feast day commemorating Passover. He turned their tables over and cast them out. He overthrew the tables of the moneychangers and said to them: “Get this out of here! It is written, ‘My house shall be called the house of prayer; but you have made it a den of thieves.’” Matt 21:12-15
He was quoting both Isaiah 56 where he describes the wicked watchmen as blind, ignorant, dumb and “greedy dogs”, shepherds with no understanding, everyone out for his own gain. And Jeremiah 7 where God says to Israel, ‘Is this house, which is called by My Name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.”
And when the chief priests and scribes saw what he had done, they conspired how they might kill him. They paid blood money for him, brought false witnesses against him and sentenced him to be tortured and crucified. They handed him over to the Roman governor and brought the innocent blood on themselves and their children when they said, “His blood be on us and on our children.” Mat 27:22-25 The Passover Lamb was sacrificed, and the veil was torn exposing their wicked deeds.
The Leaven of the Chief Priests
Jesus also taught, “beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees” which is their doctrines of hypocrisy. He called them ‘hypocrites’ many times, especially in Matthew 23, describing them to a tee. So he cleansed the House of God of the leaven of hypocrisy, malice and wickedness to install the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. But since then nothing has really changed. They all teach for doctrine, the doctrines of men and NOT of God!
By his actions, Jesus made an open show of them to his brethren. He showed exactly what makes God so angry that He would send His wrath upon His people. They rejected and killed His Son, whom He had sent to them.
As it was then, so it is now. Israel has Light in their houses but everyone else is in the dark! In Jesus’ time, he kept the Passover; he was our Passover Lamb! (1 Cor 5:7-13) He said “Whosoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life… this is the [unleavened] bread that came down from heaven… “I am the bread of life.” Not crackers and grape juice?
“It is the Spirit that makes alive, the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life.” So now you must, “eat the meat of the lamb in haste” with the “unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” and with bitter herbs in order to escape what is coming upon the earth.
There shall be no leaven found in your houses
“For whosoever eats that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel… and take you a lamb according to your families and kill the Passover. …and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood… For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians and when he sees the blood upon the lintel … the LORD will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come in unto your house to smite you. And you shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your children for ever….” Exo 12:15-27
“Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Herod” – which is: the doctrines of men, hypocrisy, malice and wickedness. -Jesus
The Hebrew Lexicon defines Hypocrisy as moral filth, i.e. wickedness: soiled, especially in a moral sense: corrupt, defiled, greatly polluted, profane, impious: -hypocrite (ical).
Get all the “leaven” of hypocrisy, idolatry, iniquity, falseness, lies, murder and merchandise out of your house! The House called by My Father’s Name is to be a house of prayer for all, but these leavenated nimrods have made it a den of thieves, robbers and murderers! They are the blind that lead the blind! They are the hirelings without care for the sheep! They are the wolves in sheep’s clothing! They are the serpents and vipers! They are the hypocrites! They are those wicked shepherds who have caused the lost sheep of the House of Israel to go astray from God! They are the ones who crucified our brother and Lord, Jesus the Christ. Come out from among them! Say to them, “Depart from me, I don’t know you, you Workers of Iniquity.”
“Who will rise up for Me against the evildoers? And who will stand up for Me against the Workers of Iniquity?” Ps 94:16
The Workers of Iniquity
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24
“Which of the prophets haven’t your fathers persecuted?” … and they stoned Stephen.” Acts 7:52-60
“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?…” Rev 6:9-11
This is the Time of Tribulation spoken of by the prophets, Jesus and the apostles from ancient times unto this day. It is described as a time which the world has never seen before and will never be again. Unprecedented. But it will be like the days when Moses brought the children of Israel up out of Egypt, and like the days of Noah, and like the days of Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah. So don’t get caught up in the troubles of this life but look up and look to God’s Word, the time of your redemption has come.
I have included the two last chapters of 2 Esdras here in PDF form, for whomsoever would like to read them. They are intended to be as a comfort to the one who reads and understands and to bring to your remembrance what has been said. The appointed time has come.
Unleavened Bread – The True Bread
“The LORD shall be unto you an everlasting Light.”
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes/trusts on me shall never thirst… the words that I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life… I am the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father but by me.” John 6:36, 63; 14:6
The Day of Vengeance of our God
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the Acceptable Year of the Lord, and the Day of Vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn. To provide for them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called Trees of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.” Isa 61:1-2
Speaking of the end times, Jesus said, “For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled… there shall be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people…” Luke 21:22
“Take heed that no man deceives you. …Behold, I have told you before.” Worship God and Him alone. For besides Him, there is no God and those who trust in idols and false gods for help will be ashamed.
This message comes to those at the end who will hear:
“Come here and I will show you the judgment of the great whore… And I saw a woman… having a golden cup in her hand… And upon her forehead a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS/DISGUSTING IDOLATRIES OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus…
Come out of her, my people, that you don’t partake of her sins and that you don’t receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven and God has remembered her iniquities… How much she has glorified herself, and lived luxuriously… Therefore, her plagues shall come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her… And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buys their merchandise any more… for in one hour she is made desolate….
For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off… And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in you: for your merchants are the great men of the earth; and by your sorceries are all nations deceived. And in her is found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.”
Rev 17 & 18
“For weeks now it has been evening. Thick darkness has gathered over our squares, our streets and our cities; it has taken over our lives,
We find ourselves afraid, And lost.”
Francis said in remarks hauntingly delivered on the steps of St. Peter’s Basilica Friday evening. 3/27/20
He spoke alone and before a vast and empty square, its cobblestones slicked with rain and reflecting the blue lights of the police locking down Rome to fight the virus.
The Bitter Herbs
“For dogs have compassed me; the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they have pierced my hands and my feet… They part my garments…”
Psalms 22
“…and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”
Zechariah 12:10
“Behold, he comes with the clouds and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.”
Revelation 1:7
“And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, ‘Father, into Your hands I commend my spirit’: and having said thus, he gave up his breath.”
Luke 23:44-46
“And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day: And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:”
Amos 8:9-11
“The Comforter, which is of the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.”
John 14
That Prophet Like unto Moses
Moses said, “The Lord your God will raise up unto you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brethren, like unto me; unto him you shall hearken;
Deut 18:15-19; Acts 3:22-26
According to all that you desired of the Lord your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
And the Lord said to me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto you, and will put My words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto My words which he shall speak in My Name, I will require it of him.
But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in My Name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.”
“Remember the law of Moses My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful Day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the Father to the children, and the heart of the children to their Father, when I come and smite the earth with a curse.”
