A whirlwind of events continued into February 2025 that can be related to God’s Prophecies. In the US, two National Prayer Breakfasts put the Trump administration in front of the religious leaders of America. Trump expressed a desire to turn the country back to religion which may sound positive, but what does God think of their idea of religion? The Roman Catholic Church was rocked by health issues with the Pope. Pope Francis was admitted into a hospital on Valentines Day, a modern holiday that originates from the pagan Lupercalia. In weather news, there was extreme rainfall, snowfall and cold temperatures. Meanwhile, there were many discussions of ceasefires, yet wars continued in the West bank, Ukraine and Russia. What do all of these events have to do with prophecy?
The following map is a summary of current events related to prophecy. Below the map you will find the event details and relevant Scriptural references. Many people have been taught God’s Word in the past tense. This is incorrect. The teachings and scenarios in the Bible and God’s Word are all prophetic, pointing to a future time, and that time is now.
In God’s Name
Eat and Pray
The annual National Prayer breakfasts were held in Washington. There is both the National Prayer Breakfast and the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast. Trump announced at the National prayer breakfast the reestablishment of the White House Faith Office putting Paula White-Cain (dressed in white in the picture) into the head position. Paula White is a prosperity gospel preacher often credited with bringing Trump into Christianity. The promotion of Paula White, upset many Christians because of the clear hypocrisy of her prosperity driven teachings.
Trump spoke at the National Prayer breakfast and rambled through many subjects including a reflection on next years 250th anniversary of the declaration of independence. He also proposed funding a park of statues to be called the National Park of American Hero’s. And a speech doesn’t go by where he doesn’t recount the assassination attempt on his life in Butler, PA. But his primary message was ‘let’s bring religion back.’ He said, “We have to make religion a much more important factor now… If we do that, our job is going to be much easier. It unifies people and brings people together…” But what religion? With his promotion of Paula White and his history of the ‘Art of the Deal’ the religion of prosperity is the only one on the table.

Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance, a convert to Catholicism, spoke at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast. He spoke words of praise for Pope Francis while also addressing the chastisement by Pope Francis regarding the Trump administration’s handling of immigrants. Immigration is a profit center for the Catholic Church, so one should ask if the Pope’s concern is for people or profits.

Wars and Rumors of Wars
Israel-Hamas War
So far the Israel – Hamas ceasefire has held with the exchange of many prisoners on both sides. Trump floated the idea of the US taking over Gaza and Netanyahu has been supportive of the idea. The proposal dismayed many around the globe and brought swift condemnations. The new Trump administration canceled aid around the world, except in Israel. $7.4 Billion in additional funding was approved for bombs, missiles and other military assistance.
Violence in the West Bank
The West Bank has seen forced evacuations of over 40,000 people since the beginning of 2025. Forty-four Palestinians have been killed in the regions violence. Israel has stated that the ‘West Bank operation’ will last for another year.
“Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts. Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. Because they do not regard the works of the LORD, nor the operation of His hands, He shall destroy them, and not build them up.”

Ukraine-Russian War
On the 3rd anniversary of the start of the Ukraine – Russia war, Russia launched the largest drone attack yet. Many drones were shot down or disabled yet some did explode in residential areas causing destruction and injuries.
A war of words erupted in the oval office between Ukraine’s President Zelensky and the Trump administration which, as Trump put it, made ‘for good television.’ Trump accused Zelenksy of ‘gambling with World War Three’ and of not wanting peace. Of course the US has given Ukraine 100’s of billion of dollars in military and humanitarian aid without visible pressure for peace… until now. Will there be peace in Ukraine in the near future? Not without a few strings attached.
One motive behind the US’s massive support for the war in Ukraine is finally bubbling to the surface. Negotiations with Ukraine have publicly started to focus on Ukraine’s rare earth resources of heavy metals critical in the production of computers and batteries. Is this really a war over resources as well as NATO memberships? The US Senator Lindsay Graham has not been shy about communicating the US Politicians desire to access the mineral resources in Ukraine. Last year during an interview regarding Ukraine, Graham stressed the desire for the West to control Ukraine’s resources instead of Russia. Trump appears to be perfectly in line with this goal.

Chinese Live-Fire Drills
A Chinese live-fire drill caught Australia and New Zealand off guard this past February. China was playing war games in international waters, but the nearest countries were unaware of the plan until 30-minutes after it started, raising tensions in the region. In addition almost 50 commercial flights had to make diversions over the region, with a pilot for Virgin as the first to notify the nearby aviation authorities of the activities. This, of course, is not something you expect to see when on a typical commercial flight.

Sexual Abuse Violence
Football fans in Louisiana were surprised to learn the extent of the involvement of New Orleans Saints executives in ‘helping its local archdiocese spin media coverage of the [Roman Catholic Church] abuse scandal.’ The revelations prompted locals to ask what kind of spin the Saints were carrying out with their own football players in regards to violence. The head of the local Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests (SNAP) group said ‘prioritizing [public relations] over survivors perpetuates harm.’ Followers of the church need to wake up to the fact that protectors of child abusers are anything but saintly!

Hypocrisy
Capybaras – A fishy Rodent
The worlds largest rodent, the Capybara which can reach 130 lbs as adults, has made it into the news in Argentina. A wealthy neighborhood with 45,000 residents is debating whether they should control the Capybara population with contraceptives or sterilization because the rodents are destroying plants and attacking pets. Apparently another solution provided by the Vatican back in 1784 hasn’t been included in the list of population control options. The Vatican declared the rodent was a fish so that Catholics could continue to eat it during the 40 days of Lent. Of course the Capybara is not a fish but a rodent just as the Eucharist is not the actual flesh of Jesus, but just a cracker. If the Roman Catholic Church can’t understand earthly things, should you trust them with Heavenly matters? No!

Gluten Free Jesus?
The Church of England is in a controversy over their communion wafers and wine. Requests for gluten-free wafers and non-alcoholic wine have been denied causing some followers to accuse the church of excluding them from receiving the Eucharist. Unlike the Roman Catholic Church, which teaches the Eucharist is transformed into the actual physical body and blood of Jesus, the Church of England considers this a symbolic ritual.
In either case, they both completely miss the point of what Jesus meant when he said to ‘do this in remembrance of me’ regarding consumption of bread and wine. What you put in your physical mouth is of no concern to God or Jesus, but what understanding or teachings you consume is important. The bread and wine are symbolic, but going through a ritual of eating physical bread and wine, with or without gluten, is worthless! You would be better off spending that time actually reading and seeking understanding in God’s Word.
There may be hope that some will come away from their blasphemous teachings. Only one in four UK citizens has a favorable view of the Church of England. Reasons given include the recent resignation of the Archbishop due to the sex abuse scandal. Their own clergy are saying the church is in a crises or free fall. The future head of the Church, Prince William, is said to rarely attend a service.

Feast Days into Mourning
Out of Breath
On February 14th, Pope Francis was admitted to a hospital in Rome for a respiratory condition. Throughout the rest of the month his health deteriorated to the point of, at times, requiring breathing assistance. He will not participate in Ash Wednesday events to kick off the Roman Catholic Church’s Lent.
“The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths. They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusts in them.”

Valentines Day was celebrated around the world with the exchange of gifts, chocolate and hearts decorating many storefronts. Where does this holiday actually come from? This article will shed some light on this unholy holiday’s history. You would be better to call it Lupercalia!
Religious Festival Attendees Crushed
Last month we covered the largest religious gathering ever occurring in India. The Kumbh Mela festival draws hundreds of thousands to Prayagraj. This February, another tragedy hit the event. At least 18 people were crushed at a rail station as they traveled to the festival.

Tribulation
Blackouts
Almost the entire population of Chile, 19 million people, were in darkness when the country experienced it’s largest blackout in 15 years. Three people dependent on electricity died and strict curfews were imposed. Public transportation came to a standstill and the President declared a state of emergency. Dependence on man-made resources left many at a standstill.
The country of Sri Lanka was also plunged into darkness after a monkey damaged a grid transformer. The power was out for the nation of 22 million people on a hot Sunday before power was restored. The vulnerability of the power grid has been a topic of discussion in the country and the damage caused by a single monkey brought ridicule to the government.
Curfews
A 48-hour curfew was imposed on the city of Cucuta, Colombia, a city with 1 million residents, due to attacks on police stations and toll booths by an armed group called the National Liberation Army or ELN. One teacher was quoted as saying, “… everyone is in a state of panic because we are all wondering where they (the ELN) are going to bomb next.”
Plane Trouble
A trend continued from January into February with more airplane troubles. In February a plane flipped over while landing in Toronto. Ten people were killed in a plane crash in Alaska. The cause of both incidents is under investigation. With so many crashed in just a few months, many are becoming leery of air travel.
Extreme Weather
Wind, Rain, Snow & Cold
An unusual number of tropical cyclones were spinning at the same time in the southern hemisphere this past February. Not all six strengthened to hurricane force winds, but Cyclone Alfred did reach the equivalent of a category 4 Hurricane.
Heavy rain in Australia is truly significant. Over 3 feet of rain fell in the North Queensland region of Australia in just 48 hours. Predictably, flooding forced evacuations and rescues from the raging waters. In the US, flooding in Kentucky claimed eight lives and led to a declaration of a state of emergency.
Similar to Australia, Japan received a record snowfall in a 12-hour period. One region received 4ft of snow stranding cars, trains and planes and closing schools. Meanwhile, a large area of the US was frozen under record cold temperatures. On average the central US was 50 degrees below the average temperatures for late February.

Look Up!
At the end of February, seven planets were visible at once as they travel along the ecliptic plane. The majesty of God’s Creation is seen on earth and in the Heavens! These are great signs in the Heavens!
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
