May was another month of hypocrisy. After passing the Foreign Aid Bill in April, Biden ‘threatened’ to withhold weapons from Israel if they went into Rafah in Gaza. Israel went into Gaza, killed 45 civilians in one attack and Biden’s White house responded that no ‘red-lines’ had been crossed by the killings.
Likewise, the Roman Catholic Church has been claiming to be transparent in regards to the Child Sex abuse scandal, yet in May the Louisiana State police used a search warrant to acquire documents for their ongoing investigation. Why didn’t the church just hand them over? Meanwhile, the attorney general of Washington State accused the Roman Catholic Church of stonewalling his investigation into the child abuse scandal.

The sun’s activity picked up in May with 19 X-Class flares! A group of flares from May 8th and 9th led to a significant solar storm on earth on May 10th. The Extreme G5 geomagnetic storm was visible throughout the world. The storm resulted in an Aurora Borealis light show witnessed even at places close to the equator such as portions of Africa and the south Pacific Island of New Caledonia. In addition, the strongest solar flare of the current cycle, an X8.7 was unleashed from sunspot AR 3664 shown below. This sunspot was on par in size with the sunspot that led to the famous Carrington event of 1859. You can read about that historical event here.

During the solar superstorm, NOAA and the US Geological Survey observed where strong electrical currents surged in rocks and soil. The map below shows ‘hot spots’ of electrical current activity on May 11th. Another impact was on some GPS systems. One GPS system used by many farmers failed, impacting the ability for farmers to plant their crops. Dependence on GPS for farming is a new development in history and this solar storm highlights how technology used for efficiency may do the opposite when not available.

Storms, Landslides, Mudslides, Floods
Meanwhile, in other parts of the world, the rain just won’t stop coming. In Indonesia, floods and landslides took more than a dozen peoples lives. The Island of Papua New Guinea has estimated over 2,000 people perished in landslides from excessive rainfall. In Afghanistan, rain cause floods killing more than 300 and Brazil is seeing the ‘worst-ever’ floods with a death toll over 100.
In the US, parts of Texas had to break out the snowplows from hailstorms. There were multiple deaths in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Iowa from tornadoes and storms. Many had to be rescued from the resulting floods.

Wars and Rumors of Wars
Israel-Hamas War & The Middle East
The Israel-Hamas war continues with constant fighting, more deaths and ongoing exposure of hypocrites. For example, Biden said, somewhat confusingly, on May 8th during a CNN interview that ‘if they [Israeli forces] go into Rafah – they haven’t gone in Rafah yet – if they go into Rafah, I’m not supplying the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities…’ So on one hand they were already in Rafah, but then they were yet to go into Rafah? He continued by saying they shouldn’t go into ‘population centers’ yet some would label the entire area of Gaza a ‘population center’ especially considering the areas already destroyed by the State of Israel.
On May 14th the US was advancing a $1Billion weapons package to Israel. Later in the month after Israel murdered 45 civilians in just one attack in Rafah the White house said Israel had not crossed the ‘US red line’ and would still receive US support. Where is the red line?!
Nikki Haley made a visit to Israel and wrote ‘finish them’ on an Israeli artillery shell. It doesn’t sound like there is any line that can’t be crossed if the goal is ‘to finish’ them. Haley, of course, doesn’t represent the White House, but she does represent the political views of many politicians in regard to US activities and support in the Middle East. Similarly, a few months ago, Mike Pence signed his name on an artillery shell while on a visit to Israel.
Arrest Warrants for War Leaders
The International Criminal Court or ICC concluded that arrest warrants should be issued for Netanyahu as well as Hamas leaders. The International Court of Justice or ICJ also called for Israel to immediately halt its military offensive. The order was immediately ignored. Israel instead took over the Gaza buffer zone on the border with Egypt, a violation of the 1979 peace accord agreement.
Israel Support Wanes
Several countries have started to back-off or sever support completely for the State of Israel. The Colombian president has severed ties over the Gaza genocide and Turkey is stopping all trade with Israel. In addition, three countries; Ireland, Spain and Norway formally recognized the Palestinian state. Public servants in Australia are calling on the government to stop sending weapons to Israel. Meanwhile, protests continue throughout the world, including within Israel, calling for Israel to stop its advances in Gaza.

Ukraine-Russian War
Funds for weapons as well as military equipment continues to flow into Ukraine from the US, Spain, Belgium, Sweden and elsewhere. In another reversal of limits imposed on the use of weapons given to Ukraine, several countries including the US are now giving the green-light for Ukraine to attack Russia, not just in the contended war zone, but far into Russian territory. Russia is initiating nuclear drills in response to the provocation.

Rumors of War
Military’s around the world continue to try to stay ahead of the rest. The AP reported in May on the US test-pilot program incorporating AI technology into an F-16. The AI-controlled F-16 is ‘already beating human pilots in air-to-air combat.’

Church Scandals
The Catholic Church continues to go from one scandal to the next. The Child Sex abuse scandal, covered below, is by far one of the longest running and prevalent scandals for the church. This past month the Vatican Museum also found itself in a legal battle with the janitorial staff over wages, working conditions and hours. The Museum brings in millions for the church.
Pope Francis found himself making another apology this last month, this time for making a ‘homophobic’ slur during a meeting with bishops where the discussion was covering recruits for seminaries. In regard to admitting gay men into seminaries, he said there was already too much “faggotness” in some seminaries.

Spiritual Wickedness

What is spiritual wickedness in high places? Those in high places are the rulers and leaders throughout the world. Spiritual wickedness is teaching a false understanding of God’s Word, a teaching that is wicked and without correct spiritual understanding. Many examples of spiritual wickedness cropped up in the news this past May.
Only Roman Catholic Church can declare a Hoax
To start, the Vatican issued ‘new rules’ for declaring a hoax a hoax. Of course, these are not their words, because they consider these apparitions, visions or phenomena as real and not the hoax that they are. Previously a hoax could be declared at the ‘local’ level, say by a bishop. But now a supposed ‘supernatural’ occurrence will need to be reviewed by the Vatican in order to assign a rating of ‘authenticity.’ The document claims the purpose of this update is to prevent hoaxers from deceiving their flock, when they whole thing is a deception to begin with!
Speaking of hoaxes, a fifteen-year-old boy that died of leukemia in 2006 has had a second ‘miracle’ credited to his name. This qualifies him to be ‘sainted’ by Pope Francis. Francis has already sainted 912 individuals, including a group of over 800 from 1480. In the Catholic religion, once sainted, the living can pray to the dead to make intersession to them with God for whatever need they have in their life. None of this is based on scripture and in fact scripture refutes this spiritual wickedness.

A New Idol at the Capitol
In May, a new statue was added at the U.S. capitol. This time it is of ‘America’s Preacher’, Billy Graham. He is shown standing with an open Bible, but it most likely won’t be this verse.

Abuse Scandals
The Catholic Church isn’t the only organization facing abuse scandal fall-outs. In May, the Boy Scouts of America changed their name in conjunction with their bankruptcy from sexual abuse claims. They will now be called Scouting America, but it is not clear how the name change will prevent sexual abuse from happening within the organization!
The Washington State Attorney general has now stated that the Catholic Church is ‘stonewalling’ sex abuse investigations. The Attorney General said, “The church has more information than it has shared with the public… We believe the public is entitled to see those records.” This is not what Kamala Harris concluded when she was District Attorney for San Francisco as well as the Attorney General for California. In fact she has been accused of assisting with the ‘stone-walling’ when it came to making public the records of abuse by the Roman Catholic Church.
In related news, Louisiana State Police expanded their investigation of the New Orleans Archdiocese with a search warrant for church records. In the warrant it was revealed they were looking for evidence connected to predatory priests who shared victims with a system they had developed for just such a crime. One priests would give a victim a gift designated for another clergymen. When the victim delivered the gift it was a signal to the recipient that the gift bearer was a target for sexual abuse. Why are these priests still walking the streets!?!

Protestors took to the streets in Georgia after a ‘foreign agent’ law was passed. The ‘bill requires media and nongovernmental organizations and other nonprofit groups to register as “pursuing the interests of a foreign power” if they receive more than 20% of their funding from abroad.’ This is viewed as a threat to ‘independent news media, nonprofits and activists critical’ of the government.
